ORIGINAL WORK OF ART - PRINTS NOW AVAILABLE

World's most dangerous bird? Some say it is. Cassowaries are flightless birds of the genus Casuarius in the order Casuariiformes. Native to the tropical forests of New Guinea, Aru Islands, and northeastern Australia, the cassowary is a beautiful, compelling and prehistoric looking creature.

Medium: Watercolour Pencil. Not your usual watercolour painting as watercolour pencils combine the precision of drawing with the fluidity of painting.

How Long did this Painting Take Me? I paint on average one evening per week (I am a busy gal) so this painting took several weeks to complete. Typically I spend around 90 to 100 hours on each of my paintings. My nieces tell me I should learn to paint faster!

This is a relatively large piece and it is sure to make an impact in your home or office.
